How to extract pages from a PDF
- Choose the document. Drag it into the area above or click to pick it.
-
Write the pages you want to keep. Single pages, ranges, or both —
1-3, 7, 12. - Press Extract pages. You get one document, not several.
- Download it. Everything else is left behind.
The order you write is the order you get
Writing 3, 1, 1 gives you a three-page document: page three, then page one,
then page one again.
This is deliberate, and it is what separates extracting from splitting. Repetition is allowed because sometimes a page genuinely belongs in two places, and the order is yours because the point of extracting is to build the document you actually need.
Does the original change?
No. A new document is written; the file you chose is untouched.
Nothing is edited in place, here or anywhere else on this site. Your original stays as it was, on your device, and the extracted document is a separate file you download.
Frequently asked questions
Is the document uploaded to a server?
No. There is no application server: the code that builds the new document runs in your browser, on your own device.
What happens if I ask for a page that does not exist?
The tool says so, naming the page and how many the document has, and nothing is produced. It is better to be told than to receive a file with a page missing.
Can I repeat the same page twice?
Yes. Repetition is allowed on purpose: writing the same number twice puts that page in the result twice.
Is the quality of the pages preserved?
Yes. The pages are copied as they are, not re-rendered or recompressed.
